The race for a top four finish enters a crucial stage this weekend when fourth placed Arsenal travels to Anfield Road to meet the newly crowned Carling Cup Champions, Liverpool on Saturday afternoon. The early kick-off fixture which starts at 12:45 GMT will go along way in determining which of these teams will play in next season's UEFA Champions League. Arsenal are seven points ahead of the Reds though the Arsene Wenger-led team have played one more game than the Merseyside club. Liverpool's outstanding match is against Everton in what promises to be an explosive match anytime it's been played. It will be recalled that Arsenal lost the first leg at home by 2-0 at the Emirates and the likes of Robin Van Persie,Gervinho,Theo Walcott and other Arsenal players will have vengeance on their mind.
Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur will try and reduce the 8 points gap between them and Manchester United when the two sides meet at the White Hart Lane 16:10 GMT on Sunday.Tottenham are currently on 53 points while the Red Devils are on 61 points.
West Bromwich Albion with Nigeria's Peter Odemwingie will host 5th placed Chelsea at the Hawthorns at the same time Manchester City will tackle Bolton at the Etihad Stadium in one of the 15:00 GMT kick offs.
