American automobile giants, Chevrolet have entered into an agreement with Manchester United on a shirt sponsorship deal. The Red Devils' jerseys will carry the Chevrolet logo for a period of seven seasons starting from the 2014/2015 league season. AON's contract will end after the 2013/2014 season. Chevrolet will become United's fifth major sponsor since the inception of the club. This is coming at a time the company's shares is going on sale for $16 in the United States of America. Manchester United lost last season's English Premiership title to City based on inferior goals difference. United ended that season without a trophy.
