Chinese League woes Euro stars with huge funds.

The Chinese League is one of the weakest leagues in Asia. The J-League in Japan, Arabian League in Saudi, K-League in Korea are miles ahead of the soccer league in the far east. In December 2011, Nicolas Anelka left Chelsea and signed for Shanghai Shinua. The weekly wages at his new club is twice of what he was earning in London. As if that was not enough, Didier Drogba also joined another Chinese club after Chelsea Champions League triumph on May 19th,2012. Yakubu Aiyegbeni of Blackburn Rovers and  Fredrick Kanoute of Sevilla are the latest European based players that went to Chinese clubs. The latest high profile player to be linked with a move to the far East is Barcelona's Gerard Pique. The Spaniard has expressed his desire to play there one day.  The tiger nation is fast becoming the destination of retired stars of various European leagues. China's Men national team has not been at the World Cup since 2002 while the Women's team is no more among the best teams in the World. The influx of players from different parts of the World might boost the game in China.
