The reigning FA cup champions have confirmed the signing of Victor Moses for a fee of around £9m. The Nigerian international has joined his compatriot, John Obi Mikel. Wigan rejected four bids from the Blues before a fifth approach was accepted.
Azpilicueta also joined them from Marseille. The Spaniard trained with his team mates on Friday morning.
Real Betis
Nosa Igiebor has signed a four year deal with Real Betis of Spain. The la liga club were promoted back to the top flight of Spanish football at the end of last season.
Bremen
Joseph Akpala has joined the Bundesliga club from Club Brugge. The Nigerian international scored a total of seven goals in last season's Europa League
Sunderland
Adam Johnson has joined Sunderland for an undisclosed fee. The former Manchester City player was linked with a move to Liverpool and Tottenham, but the England international has decided to join the Black Cats where he will hope to feature regularly.
Steven Fletcher also joined the team from Wolverhampton Wanderers for a fee of £14m.
Southampton
Gaston Ramirez has refused to play for Bologna until his future has been settled. The Uruguayan was heavily linked with a move to Southampton before his agent denied the report. Liverpool were formally interested in him.
