Man City v Aston Villa preview

Roberto Mancini is expected to name a strong squad that will face Paul Lambert's side this weekend. Manchester City came from a goal down to record a 2-1 comeback win against Tottenham at the Etihad stadium last Sunday.
The reigning English Premiership champions had to rely on goals from Sergio Aguero and a late strike by Edin Dzeko.
City are currently placed second on the log standings after 12 matches. The billionaire club is yet to lose a match this season.

On the other hand Aston Villa can only boast of nine pointas from the same number of fixtures. Paul Lambert's side gave Manchester United a big scare at the Villa Park when they took a 2-0 lead against Alex Ferguson's side. United had to depend on a brace from Javier Hernandez and an own goal by Vlaar before they got a big win.

Darren Bent has been on the bench for the opening weeks of the season due to the superb form of Christian Benteke who has been scoring goals and creating goals for others.

The Match
City wouldn't have to labour before they grab all the three points at stake. Aston Villa's defence is porous and their attacking formation is not strong enough to trouble City's back four.

Our prediction:
Manchester City 3-1 Aston Villa
