Spain under 21 international, Luis Alberto has signed a long term contract with Liverpool. The 2012 League cup champions paid £6.8m to Sevilla of Spain.
Luis Alberto was on loan at Barcelona B side last season and he scored a couple of goals for the Catalan giants.
The youngster can play behind strikers or as an attacking midfielder. Liverpool are short of players in that position.
The former Sevilla player is expected to be part of Liverpool's first team next season.
