Europa League previews.

Schalke 04 will host Athletic Bilbao at the Veltins Arena in Gelsinkirchen. Raul Gonzalez is a veteran scorer in Europe and Marcelo Bielsa's players will have to put in their best to stop the former Real Madrid man. Klaas Jan Huntelaar is the tournament's top scorer with 13 goals. The German club are unbeaten at home in this season's Europa League and they are currently placed third in the Bundesliga. Bilbao knocked out Manchester United in the previous round and they will be making their first appearance in 35 years.
Athletico Madrid will host Hannover 96 in the second tie involving German and Spanish teams. Diego and Tiago will be available for the Spaniards while Diouf and Abdellaoue wil lead the attacking line for the visitors.
Elsewhere, AZ Alkmaar will host Valencia at the AFAS Stadion while Sporting Lisbon will meet Metalist Khirkiv of Ukraine in Portugal. The Portuguese club eliminated Manchester City in the last round.
