Bayern Munich continued their goal scoring spree by firing six unreplied goals against Hertha Berlin on Saturday evening. Dutch International, Arjen Robben scored a hat trick, while Mario Gomez also scored a goal in a game that had three penalties. German International, Thomas Muller opened the scoring after 9 minutes.
Frank Ribery cross the ball to Muller to plant in a goal for the visitors. Three minutes later, Muller released Robben on the left wing and the Dutchman raced into the penalty box before smashing his team's second goal. Christoph Janker brought down Muller and Robben made it 3-0 from the penalty spot after 19 minutes on the clock.
In the second half, Mario Gomez scored his 22nd goal of this Bundesliga season from the penalty spot after Ribery was fouled in the penalty zone. Tony Kroos made it 5-0 a minute later. Ribery won another penalty in the 67th minute. Morales fouled the Frenchman for the second time in the game and Robben was on hand to seal the victory for Bayern Munich. Borussia Dortmund are still on top of the log standings after a one nil win over Werder Bremen.
