Nigeria's under 17 male team defeated the Black Starlets of Ghana by 6-1 on Sunday. The second group B match of the African Youth Championship was played in Marakech.
The Golden Eaglets outclassed their West African rivals in a match that was tagged the star game of the first round of matches.
Nigeria opened scoring through Isaac Success as early as the 10th minute. The under 17 lads were 3-0 up at half time.
In the 60th minute, Ghanian goalkeeper committed a professional foul and he was given a straight red card. Success converted the spot kick to make it 4-0. The fixture eventually ended by 6-1.
The other group match ended 1-1 between Congo and Cote d' Ivoire.
