The final of the FIFA under 20 world cup will be played this weekend in Turkey. The French under 20 side defeated Ghana 2-1 in the semi final while Uruguay overcame Iraq after extra time.
France finished fourth at Colombia 2011,but they've gone a step forward by making it to the final.
Uruguay's under 20 team had to play the extra time of 30 minutes before they overcame Iraq. The match ended 1-1 during regulation time.
None of these countries have ever won the biennial tournament. These two teams have played series of draws at the senior level. France and Uruguay played goalless draws in the 2002 and 2010 World cups.
Based on the superlative performance of the French team, they are the favourites to win the final.
