German Champions, Borussia Dortmund produced a stunning come back win over Lucas Podolski's FC Cologne in the German Bundesliga on Sunday. The hosts took the lead in the 13th minute through Milivoje Novakovic. Martin Lanig delivered an inviting cross that was headed home by the Serbian. The Dortmund goal keeper was badly positioned after a sloppy defending from the visitors. Polish player, Lukasz Piszczek scored the equaliser for Dortmund 13 minutes later in a similar way the hosts took the lead earlier on. Marcel Schmelzer crossed the ball over the Cologne defence for Piszczek to perfectly nod the ball past the Cologne keeper. German International,Lucas Podolski missed a glorious chance in the 38th minute with only the keeper left to beat. The first half ended 1-1. In the second half, Piszczek picked out Kagawa on the edge of the penalty box and the Japanese player fired a shot that was deflected into the net by the post. The Japanese forward produced a moment of magic five minutes later. He made a back heel pass to Jakub Blaszczykowski who teed up his compatriot,Lewandowski to poke home from close range. Gundogan made it 4-1 to the visitors in the 79th minute after exchanging passes with Kagawa. Aminute later, Kagawa made it 5-1 when he diverted a cross from Piszczek into the Cologne net. Croatian player, Ivan Perisic made it 6-1 in the 84th minute to restore Dortmund's five point lead at the top of the German Bundesliga.
