On Wednesday, Manchester United will welcome Sunderland at the Old Trafford stadium in the second leg of the Capital One cup semi final ties.

The free falling reigning league champions are trailing Sunderland by 2-1 after the first leg a forth night ago. United will qualify for the final if they can win by 1-0 or a two goal margin. Wayne Rooney is a major doubt for the match while Robin Van Persie remains on the sidelines due to injury.

Javier Hernandez is expected to start this game along with Danny Welbeck.

Nemanja Vidic has been suspended for the next three matches after picking up a red card in his team's 3-1 loss against Chelsea in the premier league.

On the other hand, Fabio Borini is expected to lead the attack line of the visitors.
