Battle of Manchester!

Another tussle is already on in Manchester. The two Manchester clubs are in the race for the Barclays Premier League title. The Citizens are two points clear of United at the top of the EPL table.
Both clubs have qualified for the last 16 of the Europa League in different fashions. While United defeated Ajax on a 3-2 aggregate, Man City defeated defending Champions, FC Porto on a 6-1 aggregate the same scoreline that was recorded against their City rivals at Old Trafford earlier in the season.

City players on fire!
With the return of Yaya Toure from the Nations Cup, the likes of Sergio Aguero and David Silva are on top form and the Mancini-led team are expected to get to the latter stage of the Europa League. Winning the title won't be out of order as far as the Manchester Blues are concerned.

United's result-oriented form!
Man United have won several matches regardless of their performances. The Sir Alex Ferguson boys have churned out series of good results even at difficult times. The Red Devils know how to win games when it matters. For example, Man United defeated Ajax on a 3-2 aggregate despite the great performance that was put up by the Dutch team.

Only time will tell whether the two Manchester clubs will live up to expectation as Europa League favorites.
