The man: Robin Van Persie!

Dutch International, Robin Van Persie was born on 6th August, 1983. He started his career at Excelsior youth team in 1998 and later moved to 2002 UEFA Cup winners, Feyenoord FC of Netherlands. The current Arsenal captain joined the Gunners in 2004. The "Cobra" as he is fondly called by his followers signed a £2.75 million contract with the club in that year. He made his debut in his side's FA Community Shield victory over Manchester United, though he was used a substitute. He became the Arsenal captain in August 2011 following the departure of former Spanish play maker, Cesc Fabregas. Series of injuries prevented him from playing several games but he has been very far away from the medical room this season and that's why is in a sensational form at the moment. He scored two clinical goals against Liverpool for the first time in his career. Prior to that match, the Dutchman has never scored at the Anfield Road.
He has scored 25 goals in the English Premier League with 12 more games to go.
