Nigeria fumbles again as other big guns marches on!

The Super Eagles of Nigeria failed to score an away goal or beat their hosts, the Bees of Rwanda in a 2013 African Nations Cup qualifier that was played in Kigali yesterday. The team led by former Nations Cup hero, Stephen Keshi couldn't break down the defence of the East Africans after 90 minutes of action. The match ended in a goalless draw. The Eagles paraded the likes of Peter Odemwingie who scored 5 goals in his last two English Premier league matches for West Bromwich Albion. The presence of Yakubu Aiyegbeni couldn't save the team as the Bees of Rwanda almost scored a last minute goal.  Other Europe based players were QPR defender, Taiye Taiwo amongst others. The Nigerians must win their second leg match if they want to feature in the group phase of South Africa 2013 qualifiers.
