Why Arsenal may never win any title until Wenger leaves.

Arsenal FC is a famous English club that enjoys a large fan base around the World. The North Londoners moved from Highbury Stadium to the Emirates Stadium in the Summer of 2006. Arsenal has produced a lot of great players like Dennis Bergkamp,Emmanuel Petit,Ray Parlour, Patrick Viera, Thierry Henry,Cesc Fabregas, Van Persie and so on. The last time Arsenal lifted a trophy was in 2005 when they defeated Manchester United in the FA Cup final that was played at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. The Gunners will have to wait until 2013 before they can think of winning a title. Th Arsenal board seems to be contented with the financial situation of the club and they are not really bothered about their inability to win major honours. Arsenal have lost important games that would have ended their trophy drought over the last seven years. In 2011, many football fans thought the Carling Cup was a done deal when Birmingham City emerged as their opponents, but the Arsene Wenger led side that consisted the likes of Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas were beaten by a cheap goal that was scored by Obafemi Martins. The quest to win trophies led to the ouster of Fabregas and Nasri that are currently playing for Manchester City( 2011 FA Cup winner)  and Barcelona(reigning Champions League holders.)

Van Persie

The lack of honours at the Emirates may force a star player like Robin Van Persie to leave the North London club this Summer. The Dutchman has been linked to clubs in Italy and Spain following his remarkable 27 league goals. Arsenal's 2-1 loss to Wigan Athletic and QPR are some of the poor results that can be echoed by the slow start to this current season. The awkward start to the season has grossly affected their chances of ending their 7 year WAIT for a major trophy.
