A Cristiano Ronaldo led Portuguese team survived an insurgency from the Danes in Ukraine. Pepe put the Portuguese squad ahead in the 23rd minute before Postiga doubled the lead in the 36th minute. Denmark pulled a goal back before the end of the first half. The 199r Champions equalised later in the second half. But Valeri came off the bench to give Portugal a much needed 3-2 win later in the game. The two sides are now levelled on three points each. They've scored three goals each and conceded the same number of goals after their first two group matches. Ronaldo was annonymous throughout the match. Portugal will take on Netherlands while Germany will take on Denmark on Sunday.
