Everton midfielder, Jack Rodwell has secured a move to Manchester City for a fee of around £15m. Roberto Mancini confessed that the Citizens have been monitoring him for about two and a half years and he expressed his delight after the player passed a medical on Sunday night. Manchester City defeated Chelsea in Sunday's community shield match that was played at the Villa Park. Rodwell echoed that the Premier League victory of the blue side of Manchester also propelled him to leave the Merseyside club. Jack Rodwell made his debut for England national team in November,2011. The 21-year old has signed a five year deal and he is expected to make more appearance in the cup competitions.
