Transfer Gist around Europe.

Arsenal
Theo Walcott is yet to sign a contract extension for Arsene Wenger's club and his future remains in doubt as the transfer window winds down on 31st August. Robin Van Persie and Alex Song have joined Manchester United and Arsenal respectively. Nuri Sahin's move to the Emirates stadium might be successful after the Gunners were said to be leading in the race to sign the Turkish player.

Liverpool
Reports reaching us from Anfield states that Charlie Adam and former Chelsea player, Joe Cole have been declared surplus to requirement. The two Liverpool midfielders were bought by Kenny Dalglish during his 18 month spell at the club. Adam was bought after a fee of £10 million was paid to Blackpool in 2011. Joe Cole arrived Anfield from Chelsea on a free transfer, but he was sent out on loan to Lille FC last season. The 31 year old had a great campaign in the French Ligue 1, but his injury problems seem to have resurfaced again. He pulled his hamstring in his sides 3-0 defeat to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday afternoon.

Contract extension.
Martin Skrtel has signed a contract extension and he will be expected to remain at the club till 2015. The Slovakian international has been linked with a move away from the Carling cup champions prior to this time.

Chelsea
Victor Moses' move away from DW stadium is still uncertain despite the impressive display of the Nigeria international in Sunday's 2-0 win by Roberto Di Matteo's men. A £9million fee was reportedly agreed by the two clubs over a week ago, but that deal has been declared inconclusive by Roberto Martinez of Wigan Athletic.

Manchester City
Adam Johnson is likely to join Sunderland in the coming days. Roberto Mancini has given him the green light to leave the club. Although, the Italian stated that he won't be sold at a cheap price. Emmanuel Adebayor's future is also yet to be settled by the premier league champions.
