Transfer deadline news

The transfer window has closed in England.

Nigeria's Victor Anichebe has joined West Bromwich Albion from Everton while Peter Odemwingie joined Cardiff City.

Liverpool have confirmed the signing of three players on deadline day. They are Victor Moses(loan deal),Mammadou Sakho and Tiago Ilori.

Arsenal signed Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid. The London club paid £42.5m to land the German international.

Emiliano Viviano has also joined the team on a season-long loan,but they failed to get Demba Ba from Chelsea.

Maroune Fellaini has joined Manchester United for £27.5m .The Belgian midfielder submitted a transfer request on the transfer deadline day.

Fabio Coentrao also joined the Old Trafford club on a season-long loan deal.

Meanwhile,David Moyes missed out on Andrea Herrera from Athletic Bilbao.

Romelu Lukaku has joined Everton on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea while James McCarthy also joined the club.


Joshua Guilavougui has joined Atletico Madrid.

Florian Thuvian has signed for Olympique Marseille.

Sunderland have signed Andrea Dossena from Napoli,while Fabio Borini has also joined them on a season-long loan.
