Man U succumb to Barcelona in Norway.

The International club friendly match that was played on Wednesday between Manchester United and FC Barcelona ended in a 2-0 penalty win for the Spaniards. The match ended goalless after 90 minutes of play. Wayne Rooney missed a penalty on the stroke of half time. The Catalans thwarted United's attack in the final third throughout the first half. Lionel Messi was mesmerising the United defence,but he was unable to beat David De Gea who was in goal for the Red Devils. Messi's substitution in the second half didn't prevent the Spanish side from dominating much of the second half. Shinji Kagawa impressed a lot if fans when he was introduced later in the second half. Ashley Young missed his spot kick during the shoot out. Former Manchester United defender, Gerard Pique scored the decisive spot kick for Vilanova's men.
