Claudio Ranieri fired by Internazionale!

Inter Milan of Italy have sacked Claudio Ranieri. The Italian lost his job after his side's 2-0 loss to title contenders-Juventus. The Serie A match was Ranieri's last match as the manager of the 2010 Champions League winners. Internazionale have lost several games this season. Stramacioni has been appointed as the new manager of the Nerrazurri. Inter were dumped out of the Champions League at the Guiseppe Meazza by Olympique Marseille earlier this month. They have won 12 games, drawn 5 and lost 12 in the Italian Serie A. In terms of goal scoring, they've managed to score 38 goals and conceded the same number of goals.

Claudio Ranieri's team interred at home by Marseille.

Internazionale were sent out of the prestigious UEFA Champions League by Olympique Marseille of France at the San Siro stadium on Tuesday. The French club came into the match with a lone goal advantage after the first leg. The first 45 minutes of action between the two sides produced no goal despite the few chances that were wasted by the Italian giants that won the title in 2010 under Jose Mourinho. Claudio Ranieri's team went in front with 15 minutes left in regulation time. Argentine forward, Diego Milito scored a goal from inside the penalty box after a sloppy defending by Marseille players. At that point Internazionale and Marseille were tied one all on aggregate. Brandao scored the equaliser for the French side two minutes into the injury time. A penalty was awarded two minutes later and Pazzini made it 2-1 for Inter, but Olympique Marseille qualified on the away goal rule. Claudio Ranieri's men are not even sure of getting an Europa League spot next season due to their poor position in the Italian Serie A.

Will Claudio Ranieri march on?

Massimo Moratti hired Claudio Ranieri when Allegri recorded a string of bad results. Inter Milan have not won a game in the last two months.

Claudio Ranieri

The Italian tactician is under intense pressure. The Nerrazuri have won and lost the same number of matches. and drawn 3 out of the 25 games they've played this season. The 2010 UEFA Champions League winners have scored a total of 34 goals and conceded the same number of goals. Novara and Napoli are some of the teams that have beaten them in the Serie A in recent times. Wesley Sneidjer just seems to have lost his form along with his other team mates. The Internazionale team seems to be aging. Players like Materrazzi,Esteban Cambiaso,Diego Milito and Fabio Cannavaro are getting old. Only Tiago Motta seems to be young and agile to be part of a future Inter Milan team. Diego Forlan has also lost his sparkling form and he has not been able to replicate the form he showed when he was at Atletico Madrid. The Copa America winner and 2010 Europa League winner has not been able to score goals the way he did when he was in Spain.
The departure of  Samuel Eto'o is definitely having a negative effect on this team. How long will Massimo Moratti be able to cope with a string of bad results being recorded at the moment? The Italian man has vowed not to resign his position unless he is sacked.
Inter Milan are also not doing well in Europe,as they trail Olympique Marseille of France by a goal to nil. The return leg will be held later in March.
